Considering I have four in different colors, clearly I love the Michael Kors Selma bag! This bag is so versatile, it’s ideal for any day to evening look. It looks great as a satchel as well as a cross body. The crossbody strap stays out of the way when you don’t need it and is easily available when you do. Such as when you’re stepping into the grocery store, local boutique, sitting on a bar stool or carrying a ton of items at once! I’m always glad to have the strap when needed. It also has multiple interior slide pockets and a zippered pocket.Â
This bag is made with durable Saffiano leather and is very structured which I love for work. Saffiano leather has a cross hatch print and is water resistant (not waterproof). Saffiano was a signature patent of design house Prada, as you may recognize it from the amazing Parada Galleria handbag. I’m sure the quality of the leather is different between Michael Kors vs Prada hence the price point.
The Selma is much lighter than its cousin The Hamilton. I still love the Hamilton as well but the beautiful chain and convenient middle zippered area do make it a heavier accessory. My favorite Selma is definitely the medium which you’ll see me wearing most often. I also like the large which I have in red. Questions and comments are welcome! Thanks for visiting and please subscribe!
