I don’t know about you, but I love a good blazer. For me it’s all about PPW (price per wear), and a great blazer is going to get a lot of use. This is an item that I’m willing to pay a little more for because I know I will get a good PPW out of it.
I don’t normally like to pay more than $200 for any one item with the exception of handbags, shoes, jackets and an occasional belt. Reason being, these are items you can actually wear every day, meaning you’re more likely to get your PPW out of them vs. say…. a shirt.
I wear a blazer to work pretty much every day and I’ll often wear one on the weekends as well. I have blazers in my closet that I purchased years ago and I still wear them today. For the most part, anything I haven’t worn in a year, I sell on Poshmark and then buy more bags, shoes, and jackets haha.
In my opinion, a black double-breasted blazer is as classic as you can get, so it really is a staple item for every closet.
