Striped Off The Shoulder Dress

Hello Friends!  Happy Saturday!  Today I wanted to share with you one of my new favorite budget friendly dresses (under $20!!!) as well as a few tips on how to pull off budget friendly dresses!

If you’re buying a dress, or any item that is under $50, you can’t really expect it to be of the highest quality.  I personally love a bargain and I’m a big fan of some of the lower priced pieces.  I live in NH and we only have about 3-4 months of warm weather, so I’m most likely not going to have the opportunity to wear my summer items more than a few times.

The difference between this dress and a more expensive version, is that this one doesn’t have a liner. You could definitely wear it as is, but I feel more comfortable knowing I’m fully covered!  The trick to pulling off budget items is to have the proper undergarments!  Below I have linked a few of my personal favorite budget friendly pieces!

This dress was a bit too long for me so instead of taking it to a seamstress or sewing it myself I opted for a quick and easy solution… Hem Tape! You can find the exact one I used here.  I folded the hem under and used my flat iron on high to adhere the tape and it worked great!
